Hey Everyone – sorry to report this – but the fantastic Gotta Sing Gotta Dance Hall of Fame now located at Point Loma High School in the Library/Media Center will most likely have to be moved to another location. For those of you who have not seen it – there are over 3,000 alumni featured in the Hall of Fame – singing and dancing their hearts out – all beautifully framed with gold plaques indicating the years under each framed exhibit board. I need your help as soon as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions or contacts to move the Hall of Fame off campus to a public building or exhibit area – public library, restaurant, office building, bank, Studio, Music or Dance building, etc? The Hall of Fame has the potential to become a very popular exhibit off campus when you consider it was a unique one-of-a-kind musical theater program in America that has been written about in the L.A. Times, U.S.A. Today, New York Post, People Magazine, Vogue, Entertainment Weekly, and has made international press as well – BBC, La Republica, etc – plus television - Quest for Excellence documentary, CNN, MSNBC, Warner Bros Celebrity Justice and local media as well!
I spent a full year restoring all the boards, reshooting photos, and creating new boards as well as having everything framed under glass for generations to enjoy. I am very worried that the display is going to be taken down very soon – and because of limited storage on campus – it will be destroyed or disappear. Please! Please! Please! If you have any ideas, let me know as soon as possible! Contact me via telephone or at my e-mail. I thought initially that this was going to be a permanent display at the school – but was evidently incorrect.
Thanks so much for your consideration of this bit of Point Loma Musical Theatre History featuring alumni who have become everything from Doctors, Public and Private School Teachers, Lawyers, Scientists, San Diego City Council Members, Administrators, CEO’s, University Professors, Businesspeople to famous Artists, Designers, Recording Artists, Composers, Film and Stage Directors, Actors, Dancers, Authors, Animators, Film Editors, TV producers, and more. Send me your ideas for a new location – it will be great to hear from you!

Wow! What a shock. I love the exhibit and so do my students at Point Loma High. I show them the pictures of me (class of ‘83) and suddenly I be come more real and they respond to me differently. I thought the library was perfect, but what about the Larry Zeiger PCA. It might not be as public as you might like but it is a place to concider.

Say it isn’t so! That is dissapointing news. I don’t have any great alternatives. I actually had planned to go see it and haven’t made it yet.
